As I have mentioned many times before, I just loved doing pre-weddings. It allows me to try different things without the pressure and hectic pace of a typical wedding. I was so glad when Rick and Rawaeda suggested that they want their pre-wedding done at the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney. it is a beautiful oriental garden located at Darling Harbour. Be warned though that you’re gonna have to pay a not -so-cheap fee if they think that you are doing a professional shoot. No problem for our couple though as they are more than willing to pay because the place is worth it.
Our photo shoot was cut-short though because an incident occurred and the police ordered everyone to leave. There where a lot more locations within the garden that I would have wanted to try. It was just bad luck that this has to happen. Good thing that we are in the CBD and there’s just so many other good places to go. So we just decided that our next location would be Mrs Macquarie Chair. Then on to Luna Park for the night shots.
It was a really enjoyable session specially when working with my lovely couple who are so easy-going and as tireless as me. They just loved having their photos taken and also have a few ideas of their own. It makes my job so much easier. Rick and Rawaeda are set to marry in March 2015. Watch out for our coverage of that multi-day event.
