What an honour to be part of Jessica and Jae’s wedding. I’m so thankful that me and my team were able to be there and capture it. This day was so special in a myriad of ways. First, all the locations are beautiful and is guaranteed to excite any photographer. Second and most importantly, our couple and their party as such a nice and game couple that they are so easy to work with.
We started our day at the Royal Autombile Club in Sydney which is a heritage building. Once the ceremony is over and after a short rest (lunch), we started the location shoot right on the venue itself. There are beautiful staircases and classy interiors that I could practically spend the entire day here and never run out of ideas. But we have to move on as there are plenty more places to go.
It was just a short walk from the club to the Sydney Opera House. The location was a bit of a challenge as there are just so many people around. It is very hard to get a clear shot and you got a few of the occassional photo bombers 🙂 But we still managed and was able to get a good amount of images that I’m happy with. Next stop was Mrs Macquarie Chair. We only spent a short moment here as we are fast running out of time. After a few shots, we proceeded to St Marys Cathedral for a quick shoot and then headed to our couple’s home in Paddington.
At Jessica and Jae’s place, everybody had a much needed rest. The MUA was also here to redo Jessica’s hair and makeup style. The roof of the building had fantastic views of the City. I had a lot of fun here shooting specially with the groomsmen. They had a lot of whacky ideas of which some of them are not fit for public viewing 🙂
Our final destination is at The Catalina in Rose Bay for the reception. We did a few more photo session around the bay before the start of the proceedings. it was a wonderful night to conclude a magical day. Thank you so much Jess and Jae for making me part of your special day. All the best and congratulations!
