I always enjoy shooting pre-weddings. This is a chance for me to get to know my clients. Most couple had never experienced a professional photo shoot. It can be quite intimidating specially when a big camera is pointed at you. The pre-wedding session is sort of like a training ground in preparation for the wedding day. It allows them to be familiar with being like a model. I also learn from this session as it allows me to study them such as their best angle and what kind of actions are they most comfortable with.
For Veronica and Allan, doing a photo shoot is not a problem. They are quite at ease and are so easy to work with. Reason being is that they have had a pre-wedding done before overseas. So they are no longer strangers to this kind of thing.
We began at the Observatory Hill near the Harbour. As always the case at that place, we have to work with all the other photographers (and videographers) as it is a very popular place for wedding shoots. We went around The Rocks and Circular Quay. Afterwards, we went to the other side of the harbour at Luna Park. We then concluded the session at McMahons Point.
Veronica and Allan will be married on March 2013. Watch out for our coverage of that event specially as the wedding will take place at the Chinese Garden in the City. It is a such a picturesque and beautiful place that I can’t wait for that date to happen.
