The 1st of September officially brings the start of spring in Sydney. It was a warm lovely day (supposedly). The perfect ingredient to do the pre-wedding shoot of our couple Juliana and John. Their wedding is scheduled to occur in October 2012. They chose Darling Harbour for their shoot.
We started out in front of the Chinese Garden. The plan was to keep moving (and shoot along the way) and time it so that we reach Pyrmont Wharf for the sunset shots. Unfortunately, the weather turned on us while we where halfway along the way. It started raining and we had to duck underneath a highway interchange to protect our equipment. Worse, it started getting really cold. Expecting a warm day, we did not bring our winter clothing. It was a struggle specially for our couple whenever we have to shoot them and they have to remove their jackets.
Because we where delayed by the rain, it was dissapointing that we did not reach Pyrmont Wharf in time for the sunset. Although we just caught a glimmer of it. Despite all this, Julianna and John have kept their spirits and they remained as happy and jovial. All of us really had a great time. Stay tuned for the next series from the couple when I cover their wedding day.
