Hiro and Al met while diving in Exmouth Western Australia. It was March 2004. On that fateful day, their love was sealed under the sea. They moved together to Amsterdam in 2005. Last March 2007, they got engaged at Budapest. They moved back to Sydney in 2008 and had been living here ever since.
On short notice, they decided to get married on the rare event of 11/11/11 . They even exchanged their vows at exactly 11:11 pm! The ceremony itself was simple and was a private affair attended only by their immediate family. Because of this, they then planned a bigger event to celebrate their union. This “wedding celebration” party is what we covered.
The party was held at the elegant Curzon Hall at Marsfield. It has a castle-like building surrounded by a beautiful garden. The place itself is huge! It contains 8 reception halls. This place has gotta be one of my favourite reception locale. You can do both the reception and formal shoots right at the same location. Luckily for us, the place was not fully booked. We pretty much have the entire location for ourselves.
The day started at Hiro’s family home in Carlingford

There is an empty ballroom that looks so beautiful. This hall is the one that they liked to book. But it can’t fit the amount of guests that they have. Neverthless, we decided to sneak in and take a few photos:
