Our coverage of the Sydney wedding photography / videography scene
Steven and Catherine / Wedding Photography / Expert Photography
Happy New year to everyone! This will be my first post for the year. And oh, what a wonderful wedding this is!
Steven first saw Catherine in 2007 across the food court and had an attraction straight away. It wasn’t until a year later when their mutual friends introduced them. They’ve been together ever since.
As a couple, they going on day trips to the beach or the city. Steven has an outgoing, respectful, and dry dad humour personality while Catherine is caring, organised, and playful.
I asked them what made them realised that he/she was “the one”:
Steven – when i realised that her family values and caring nature were something i wanted for the rest of my life.
Catherine – when i felt most comfortable to be my true self around him.
Steven proposed when they were on a European holiday and were in Gozo Malta where Catherine’s family is from. He took her up to the top of the stairs at her families church in Gozo and asked Catherine to close her eyes. When she opened her eyes he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. Her initial reaction was of shock and had delayed response of Yes.
The wedding ceremony took place at St. Aidan, Rooty Hill. The reception was at Luna Park. Steven and Catherine are so wonderful to work with. They are also willing to try anything. This is actually the first time I saw a wedding couple take on a giant slide! Even the Luna Park staff are amazed!
Congratulations Steven and Catherine! We totally enjoyed covering your special day. I wish you all the best!!!
