Adam and Emily first met January 2011 at a friend’s house at about 11.00pm at night. Adam’s neighbour had showed him a picture of Emily (She was tying to get them to meet for the last year) she told him to come over that night as Emily would be there, so after a long day of racing at the drags and being very tired (Adam was as red as a tomato from being sunburnt) he decided to drive to their mutual friends house to check out this “Emily” character.
In the beginning Adam kept asking Emily to be his girlfriend but she keep saying not yet, not yet. He kept trying and eventually, persistence paid off!
They picked the ring out together. Adam made Emily wait a few months before popping the question thinking it would be more of a surprise not knowing when it was coming but when Adam planned for them to go out Emily knew it was coming as it was always Emily thinking of ideas to do on a free Saturday night. On October 11th 2014 Adam took Emily out to eat & took her to the beach (Emily always hinted she wanted it somewhere quiet & away from people). He had the ring in the wrong pocket so he kept asking Emily to move, being stubborn she didn’t move. Adam scared Emily by saying there was something in the tall grass making her jump up & when she turned around Adam was on his knee but Emily was still too worried that there was actually something in the grass!
They both knew quite early on that they were right for each other, like the missing puzzle piece that just seems to fit together perfectly. Adam told Emily he loved her after a couple of months, literally about 2 months when Emily went to Ballina to visit her family. They were both what each other had been waiting for.
I myself am so glad to have met this beautiful and wonderful couple. I immensely enjoyed working with them because they are so nice and really enjoyed the session. They are set to marry in November 2016. We can’t wait for that day!
The location was at Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside.
