I was at Connells Point for the beginning of my assignment to what promises to be a perfect day. I arrived to see my bride happy and relaxed together with her lovely bridesmaids. This house is her family home beautifully situated near the water with fantastic views.
Andrew and Eliza first met in 2007 at St. Andrews while they were at Year 10. Her first impression of him was he is funny and quite good looking. On the other hand, he thinks she has a good sense of humour and beautiful. They were friends for many years before they started dating which is why they get along very well and can be themselves around each other. Their favourite memory during those years was they would go to school early so they can be together.
Eliza loves Andrew’s smile, his caring nature and his cooking. In turn, Andrew loves Eliza’s laugh, her loving nature, and her protectiveness. They love going for walks together, hiking on national parks, travelling, watching movies/documentaries, and going on road trips. They both enjoy buffallo wings with chips (wings for Andrew, chips for Eliza!). They’ve been to places such as Bryce Canyon, Utah where they had an amazing hike after getting caught in a rainstorm. In Zion National Park, Utah where they hiked through waist high water through a narrow canyon where the scenery was just beautiful!
Andrew knew from the very beginning that Eliza is the only girl he wanted to be with. So he proposed to her while on a trip to Lake Michigan, Chicago at the end of the Navy Pier. She could tell that he was really nervous all through dinner and then finally as the sun was setting, he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Before this, she already knew that he was the “one” when she realised that her family loved him as much as she does. Happy and with tears of joy, she said Yes!
That fateful day now leads us to the present were they get to finally tie the knot and seal their union. They were married at the St. Patricks Church in the Rocks. Their reception was at the Pier One at Sydney Harbour. It was a beautiful wedding of a totally in loved couple. Congratulations to Andrew and Eliza and I wish you all the best with your happily ever after!
