As the saying goes — “There’s always a first time for everything”. For me, this saying applies to this event as it is the first time I covered a wedding were the theme is very different from a typical traditional wedding.
Lauren and Thorne had decided that their wedding would be something unique. The bride’s (and bridesmaids) dress has a 50’s (or 60’s?) theme to it. From the bouquet to the reception decor, everything is uniquely different. Not that I’m complaining though as it is both non-traditional but so beautiful. Even the QT Hotel were Lauren was preparing is themed like a classic movie/theatre which just blends well with her look.
I started the coverage at the QT Hotel. Lauren never told me about the special theme of her wedding so I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. She looks so different that you’ll have a hard time recognising her. Neverthless, I thought she was so beautiful in her outfit that It just suits her perfectly.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Rose Garden inside the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens. I noticed that Thorne, the celebrant, and pretty much all the guests at the ceremony also had the same pleasant but admiring look to their faces upon seeing Lauren entering the grounds. After the ceremony, we had the location shoot within the Gardens. The reception was at the Italian Village.
Again, I am so glad to be have the privilege of covering a wedding that is both unique and beautiful. Thanks you and all the best to Lauren and Thorne!

Howdy, i read your blog from time to time and i own
a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam feedback?
If so how do you reduce it, any plugin or anything you can suggest?
I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any help is very
much appreciated.
Hi there. I do get spam but it is still in a manageav=ble level. I just trash them manually. Haven’t used or know any plugin that can prevent this. Sorry if I’m not much of a help.
